Types of ghosts

Orbs
Orbs: orbs are probably the most common, and well-known of all apparitions. They are small balls of light energy, which are usually white or blue and can be dismissed as nothing more than dust by those pesky skeptics! .They are mostly seen in photos and video footage. Some of these orbs though are 100% genuine, and have been documented since the invention of cameras. Orbs are thought to be a human or animal soul, and are made up of electrical energy. Theh are usually seen as small balls of light, but other shapes have been seen. Orbs can happen before a manifestation!!

Poltergeists
The term "poltergeist" originates from the German words "poltern, = to make noise, and "geist," = ghost or spirit. So, the very literal translation of poltergeist is "noisy ghost."
A poltergeist is said to be able to move or knock things over, make noises and move things in the physical environment. Although among the most well known of spirits, a poltergeist is one of the rarest forms of hauntings.

Interactive ghosts
Interactive ghosts or spirits are so named because of their ability to interact with the living. This could be through whispers, touching, emmiting smells like tobacco or aftershave, or triggering emotions such as sadness or anger. On our visit to the witches trees in grovely woods, the usual emotionless Shelley 😉 felt she was going to cry, so was possibly effected by an interactive spirit!! They may appear as visual apparitions or even move objects!!. They are said to have been humans and will stay in places for a reason such as it was where they lived, worked or even where they died.

Elemental spirits
Elemental ghosts or spirits are thought to be connected to nature and the physical world, while ghosts are often associated with the remnants of human souls after death.
They are said to be connected to the 4 elements, water, fire, earth and air. They can manipulate the elements.
Most elemental hauntings take place in isolated, mountainous, desert, or forest settings.
We experienced one in the forest!!
